Admissions
We won't tell you Fayerweather is the right school for your child. We'll help you find out.
That's how admissions works here. It's also how our classrooms work: questions first, answers earned. Choosing a school is a ten-year decision, and it's not one you should make from a website.
Come see us in a morning meeting, in a middle school discussion where a seventh grader is arguing with Thoreau, in the hallway where a first grader is showing her teacher what she drew. That's where the real conversation starts.
The shape of the journey.
Four moments. One relationship.
Inquire. Tell us who your child is and what's on your mind. We follow up personally, usually within a few days.
Visit. Open houses in the fall, small-group tours year-round. Older students spend a day in class.
Apply. Applications open in October, close in mid-January. We ask for your child's story, not just their scores.
Decide. Decisions go out in early March. The next move is yours, and we'll stay in conversation either way.
